{ macramé inspired }

Macramé is making a comeback!
The 1970's saw a macramé craze using this 13th century form of textile-making, using knotting rather than weaving or knitting to decorate anything from jewellery, wall hangings, bedspreads, clothing, plant holders & other small accessories. The most common materials used in macramé include cotton twine, hempleather or yarn.
Its nice to see current designers being inspired again to use this technique throughout their ranges!

  1. I have always loved that bed. I have the book that it is in; some day maybe I will get around to making it.
